Hilarious Islam

Putting aside the calls for Jihad against non-believers, the disparate treatment of women, the barbaric capital punishments, inhumane treatment of animals, questionable science, etc., which many Muslims seem to have no problem with or can somehow find some inane justification for, let us look at some of the many asinine statements and commands from the scriptures which should be sufficient to shame any sane believer into disbelief.

Sometimes the only wake-up call for the indoctrinated is the ridiculing of their belief system; exposing the ludicrous foundations of their faith in light of modern knowledge and commonsense.

Islamic scriptures are brimming with superstitions, absurdities and sheer madness. To think that there is a higher being out there who would take the time out to reveal universal secrets to mankind yet frequently deliver a hodgepodge of nonsense, would normally be below the intelligence of any right thinking individual, unless shrouded in faith. Anyone prepared to open their mind rather than let it blindly fall into deep submission of blind faith will quickly see through the pretence of Islam's divinity.

The charismatic Muhammad made some extraordinary claims, which at the time, to those hoodwinked under his messenger spell, would have seemed astonishing. For instance his ability to talk to a date palm tree must have been miraculous to those venerating him. In Sahih Bukhari 56:784 we read The Prophet used to stand by a date-palm on Friday. Then an Ansari man said. "O Allah's Apostle! Shall we make a pulpit for you?" He replied, "If you wish." The next Friday, he delivered the sermon from the pulpit. The date-palm cried like a child! The Prophet said, "It was crying for missing the religious knowledge given near to it." Do all trees on the planet long for religious sermons to be given near them? Are they all in tears for want of Islam? Maybe it was a special tree! But in SB 58:199 a tree also speaks to Muhammad telling him about the Jinns (spirits) hearing the Qur'an. Muhammad was obviously able to convince his followers of the reality of talking trees back in seventh century Arabia.

In addition to trees, monkeys also have lessons to teach humans. Apparently it is not only Muslim men who are paranoid with adultery amongst their women-folk. Monkeys are also keen on eradicating such undesirable females from amongst their flock. Muhammad says: SB 58:188: During the pre-Islamic period of ignorance I saw a she-monkey surrounded by a number of monkeys. They were all stoning her, because it had committed illegal sexual intercourse. Muhammad was so eager to reintroduce stoning he related a tale confirming its practice in the animal kingdom.

Fish can also be used by Allah to taunt humans into sinning. The Qur'an tells us of the story of fish that would pop their heads out of the water to tempt the people to catch them but only on the Sabbath, Q7:163 They transgressed in the matter of the Sabbath. For on the day of their Sabbath their fish did come to them, openly holding up their heads, but on the day they had no Sabbath, they came not: thus did We make a trial of them, for they were given to transgression. Q7:166 When in their insolence they transgressed prohibitions, We said to them: "Be ye apes, despised and rejected..." After Allah tempts them to work on the Sabbath he summarily turns them into despised apes.

Not only was Allah fond of turning people into apes but he had a penchant also for pigs and rats. SB 54:524 The Prophet said, "A group of Israelites were lost. Nobody knows what they did. But they were cursed and changed into rats.

Performing any act that is prohibited in Islam, such as wearing silk, playing musical instruments or committing adultery can invoke some rather ruthless punishments from the so-called merciful God. In Sahih Bukhari 69:494v Muhammad tells us, "From among my people those who consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk and the use of musical instruments, as lawful, Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection." Obviously no Muslims contravene these rulings else mountains would be toppling down around us, monkeys and pigs would be appearing out of nowhere running around until the day of resurrection, and destruction would be occurring unabated before dawn.

Stones can also have a mind of their own. We read in Sahih Bukhari 5:277 The Prophet said, Once Moses went out to take a bath and put his clothes over a stone and then that stone ran away with his clothes. Moses followed that stone saying, "My clothes, O stone! My clothes, O stone!" till the people of Bani Israel saw him and said, "By Allah, Moses has got no defect in his body." Moses took his clothes and began to beat the stone. Here Muhammad reveals to mankind the earth shattering news that Moses had no blemishishes on his body in addition to the amazing powers of some stones.

Another interesting concept is Allah's love for sneezing and his obvious dislike for yawning which apparently stems from the devil. SB 73:245 gives more details, The Prophet said, "Allah loves sneezing but dislikes yawning; Yawning is from Satan, so if one of you yawns, he should try to stop it, for when anyone of you yawns, Satan laughs at him." So now that we know the Islamic explanation for the cause of yawning, Satan, we can disregard the scientific reasoning which is a physical reflex within the body when the blood system, lungs and brain require a burst of oxygen to be invigorated. In addition we have a God who declares his love for sneezes yet openly proclaims, throughout his Qur'an, hatred and curses on disbelievers. Some may say he has his priorities in the wrong place, but who is to question such a God without at least loosing a limb?

Muhammad was a man well versed in medicine. No, he did not discover penicillin, nor did he leave a cure for cancer or vaccinations for common diseases. He did however expound on the theory of the fly antidote. In SB 71:673 the apostle declares, from his God given wisdom, If a fly falls in the vessel, dip all of it into the vessel and then throw it away, for in one of its wings there is a disease and in the other there is healing antidote for it. So now we know the remedy for dealing with diseases such as anthrax, cholera, dengue fever, dysentery, typhoid fever, etc caused by flies, simply dip both wings in your child's food and voila the antidote is activated.

Some further medical breakthroughs in brief from the last prophet are:

• SB 71:663 Eating dates will protect you from poison and magic all day long.
• SB 71:641 The earth of our land and the saliva of some of us cure our patient
• SB 71:637 Treat poisonous stings with Ruqya {reciting from Qur'an}
• SB 71:619 Fever is from the heat of Hell, so put it out with water.
• SM 23:5113 A non-Muslim eats in seven intestines whereas a Muslim eats in one intestine
• SB 71:599 The best medicines you may treat yourselves with are cupping and sea incense
• SB 71:596 Treat with the Indian incense, for it has healing for seven diseases
• SB 71:591 Black cumin is healing for all diseases except death
• SM 16:4131 Eight men came and swore allegiance to Islam, but became sick. Muhammad said: Why don't you go to our camels and drink their milk and urine.

For many more medical miracles refer to the Medicine section in the Hadith chapter. Should you decide to try any of these cures at home but somehow they do not work as prescribed, note that the prophet has sound scientific reasoning for such failures. In Sahih Bukhari 71:614 we have a man coming to Muhammad for advice on diarrhoea, A man said, "My brother has got loose motions." The Prophet said, "Let him drink honey." The man returned and said, "I made him drink (honey) but that made him worse." The Prophet said, "Allah has said the truth, and the abdomen of your brother has told a lie." So there we have it. When a person does not respond to Allah's treatment it must be the body that is lying, for Allah always tells the truth! An important final note regarding medicine is the knowledge that it is only Allah who truly heals. In Sahih Bukhari 71:640 we have Muhammad treating with recitations from the Qur'an saying, "O Lord, remove the trouble. The cure is in Your Hands, and there is none except You who can remove disease." So essentially there is no need for doctors or hospitals. All that is required is reading from the Qur'an and depending on Allah to remove illnesses. None, not even doctors, have any ability to cure except Allah.

Polluted water was not a problem for Muhammad. In Sahih Muslim 1:66-67 - The people asked the Messenger of Allah: Can we cleanse out of the well of Buda'ah, which is a well into which menstrual clothes, dead dogs and stinking things were thrown? He replied: Water is pure and is not defiled by anything. The people of the time, though not aware of bacteria or germ theory, had an inkling of the dangers of unclean water. However Muhammad with his divine wisdom informed them that water can never be polluted because it is pure. One wonders how many innocent lives were lost because of such advice.

Playing games is certainly not child's play in Islamic societies. A simple game of chess is equated to staining oneself with the blood of pigs. Muhammad informs us in Sahih Muslim 28:5612, He who played chess is like one who dyed his hand with the flesh and blood of swine. No specific reasons are given, but from the psychological make up of Muhammad's mind, one can deduce that he would rather have his men out on the real battlefield as opposed to sitting at home battling on a board.

Of course it is imperative that we all pay our taxes. We know the penalties in this world for withholding our assets and earnings from the taxman. However are we aware of the punishment for such crimes in the hereafter? Fortunately Muhammad has kindly informed us in Sahih Bukhari 86:89, On the Day of Resurrection the wealth hidden from taxes, will appear in the shape of a huge bald headed poisonous male snake and swallow the hand of its owner. If the owner of camels does not pay their tax, then, on the Day of Resurrection those camels will come to him and will strike his face with their hooves. It is therefore imperative that all camels in your possession are taxed and road worthy. Defaulting on taxes for any other asset will incur the wrath of those assets in the form of a poisonous snake ready to devour its owner's hands! Muhammad must have been very keen on collecting taxes in this world for Allah to instigate punishments of such magnitude in the next realm, on behalf of his prophet.

However, prior to being judged on the day of resurrection we must be questioned on entering the grave by angels of the Lord. Muhammad explains the process in Sahih Bukhari 23:422 "When a human being is laid in his grave two angels come to him and make him sit and ask him: What did you use to say about Muhammad? ... a non-believer will say to the angels, 'I do not know' It will be said to him, 'Neither did you know nor did you take the guidance (by reciting the Qur'an).' Then he will be hit with an iron hammer between his two ears, and he will cry and that cry will be heard by whatever approaches him except human beings and jinns." Don't know about Muhammad at the time of your burial or cannot recite the Qur'an? Well don't be surprised when the merciful Allah sends his angels to whack you over the head with an iron hammer. Muhammad says the crime of not knowing him at death is extremely detrimental and our skull will feel the punishment. But as it cracks, the cries will not be heard by fellow humans or the imaginary jinns.

After you have had a good night's sleep, always remember to clean your nose thoroughly in the morning. For the reason why, let's read what Muhammad has to say in Sahih Muslim 2:462 When any one awakens from sleep he must clean his nose three times, for the devil spends the night in the interior of his nose. So here we have another important titbit of information regarding the whereabouts of the devil and how to rid ourselves of his presence from up our nostrils. Sahih Bukhari 54:491 continues, During sleep, Satan ties three knots at the back of the head and breathes the following words at each knot, 'The night is long, so keep on sleeping.' If that person wakes up and celebrates the praises of Allah, one knot is undone, when he performs ablution the second knot is undone and when he prays, all the knots are undone, and he gets up in the morning lively and gay, otherwise he gets up dull and gloomy. Satan up to his tricks again tying knots at the back of our heads. So if every non-Muslim appear dull and gloomy it must be because they did not awake, praise Allah and pray.

Dreams are also important and must be dealt with if unfavourable. Muhammad says in Sahih Bukhari 87:115, A good dream comes from Allah, a bad dream is from Satan. If anyone has a bad dream, he should seek refuge with Allah from Satan and should spit on the left, so the bad dream will not harm him. Apparently spitting on the right is not recommended for dealing with Satan. It must be to the left, but be cautious if someone is in bed with you on the left!

But things can get worse should we oversleep and not get up in time to say our prayers to Allah. Muhammad warns us against such a transgression in Sahih Bukhari 21:245 One who kept on sleeping till morning and had not got up for the prayer, Satan urinates in his ears. The majority of people in the world do not arise early for pre-dawn Salah (prayers) to Allah, which would suggest a hell of a lot of peeing done by Satan. And because of the varying time zones around the earth, he must be kept quite busy, 24/7.

While on the topic we should note that Muhammad teaches us about everything, even about excrement. Sahih Muslim 2:504 informs us that He has forbidden us to face the Kaaba at the time of excretion or urination, or cleansing with less than three pebbles, or with dung or bone.Never face the Kaaba while using the toilet. A compass may be required the next time nature calls. Cleaning up after requires the use of three stones; nothing less will do and it must be an odd number though. Using bones or dried dung is not allowed and no mention is made of toilet paper or good old soap and water.

But the world could, for the last fourteen hundred years, have been rid of Satan. Yes, our hero Muhammad did catch the little devil and as he was about to tie him to a pillar, Allah came along and contrary to simple logic and concern for our ears, nostrils, dreams and misguidance He thought it wise to free the devil to continue causing havoc. The report of the event is included in Sahih Bukhari 22:301 where Muhammad relates"Satan came in front of me and tried to interrupt my prayer, but Allah gave me an upper hand on him and I choked him. No doubt, I thought of tying him to one of the pillars of the mosque till you get up in the morning and see him. Then Allah made him (Satan) return with his head down humiliated." Muhammad wanted to have Satan tied to the mosque to prove to his followers his supremacy over the devil but conveniently for him Allah decided to let the devil go free, but humiliated nonetheless!

Some of us may wonder why Muslims sport long beards, sometimes dyed a reddish colour, yet shave their moustaches. Well the answer is quite simple. At that time in Arabia, the styles among the Pagan tribes were moustaches on men and among the Jews, beard and moustache. Muhammad was keen on differentiating his Muslim community from outsiders. This was helpful in battle to ensure recognition of combatants and also essential in creating that barrier between believers and non-believers. Therefore in Sahih Muslim 2:500 we have Muhammad saying, Act against the polytheists, trim closely the moustache and grow the beard. Then in Sahih Bukhari 72:786 the Prophet says, Jews and Christians do not dye their hair so you should do the opposite of what they do. To act against the non believers, it was crucial that the Muslims devise a new look.

According to Muhammad, poets are Satan and it is better to be filled with pus than their poetry. Sahih Muslim 28:5611 tells us of the time Muhammad was travelling and he met a poet reciting poetry. He said: Detain the Satan, for filling the belly of a man with pus is better than stuffing his brain with poetry. We do not know the fate of the poet after being detained, however at least we are informed of the folly of filling our brains with poetry.

Muhammad was also a keen geneticist, revealing information only an expert in DNA research could have disclosed so many centuries ago. In Sahih Bukhari 82:830 A Bedouin came to Allah's Apostle and said, "My wife has delivered a black child." The Prophet said to him, "Have you camels?" He replied, "Yes." The Prophet said, "What colour are they?" He replied, "They are red." The Prophet asked, "Are any of them grey in colour?" He replied, "Yes." The Prophet asked him, "Whence did that greyness come?" He said, "I think it descended from the camel's ancestors." Then the Prophet said, "Therefore, this child of yours has inherited the colour from his ancestors." The mother and father were fair skinned Arabs, the child was black. Grey haired camels exist among red camels therefore according to Muhammad the child must have inherited its colour from a distant ancestor. No consideration of the possibility that one of the many black slaves kept by the Arabs may have had some input in the matter!

The prophet also warns us about the last day. It is important we keep an eye out for this critical day of judgement; after all our eternity depends on it. He answers the question in Sahih Bukhari 88:232 What are the portents of this cataclysmic event, "The Hour will not be established till the buttocks of the women of the tribe of Daus move while going round Dhi-al-Khalasa." The Daus tribe must be special to Allah because he has predetermined that their women's dancing around their idol, Dhi-al-Khalasa, while their posterior gyrates, will determine when the last day will be upon us. It would be wise for scientists to study and monitor this tribe and inform the rest of humanity when their women are about to commence their earth shattering dance.

In the Last Days the Dajjal (Anti-Christ) will make an appearance. Muhammad describes him as follows: Sahih Muslim 41:7005-9 ... behold that Dajjal is blind of the right eye and his eye would be like a floating grape. On his forehead are the letters k f.r. (Kafir) which every Muslim would be able to read.

Those alive during the last days would hear the sounding of trumpets and at that time people would be transformed in a rather strange manner: SM 41:7055 Then Allah would cause the water to descend from the sky and people will sprout like vegetables. The only thing in a man which would not decay would be the spinal cord from which the whole frame would be reconstituted on the Day of Resurrection.

According to Muhammad the spinal cord will not decay and that is what will form the basis for rebuilding the body when Allah is ready for the last day. Shame about those cremated, their spinal cord will not be available for reconstruction.

When this last day does arrive the Muslims will have to kill the non-Muslims. They will be aided and abetted by stones and trees that will give up the whereabouts of the Jews. Allah's Messenger did say in Sahih Muslim 41:6985, The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews. It is important that mankind, for its long term safety, plant sufficient Gharqad trees so that non-Muslims hiding behind them will not be revealed to the marauding Muslim fighters.

Dangerous prophecies like this could, in the wrong hands, be self fulfilling, encouraging believers to hasten the last day by fighting against Jews and non Muslims. What could be better, for a believer, than bringing about the last day?

Praying will ensure we are in good stead for that critical day of resurrection. But ensure that when prayers are being offered, the eyes do not glance upwards. Muhammad warns mankind to be aware of this in Sahih Muslim 4:863, People should avoid lifting their eyes towards the sky while supplicating in prayer, otherwise their eyes would be snatched away.

Only when prayers are to be offered, should one wash their hands after using the toilet. In Sahih Muslim, Muhammad tells his followers that washing after toilet use was not necessary even if handling foodstuff. SM 3:728 The Apostle of Allah came out of the privy after relieving himself and food was brought to him and he took it, and did not touch water. It was said to the Apostle of Allah: You have not performed ablution. He said: I do not intend to say prayer that I should perform ablution (washing).

It is important to be clean before prayers. But how clean? Muhammad tells us that dust on the face and palm is a sufficient enough cleanser. Sahih Muslim 3:718 explains that after sex, most likely with some unfortunate captives of war, his soldiers had no water to purify themselves. Therefore Muhammad makes the following recommendation, We were in a military detachment and we had had a seminal emission and did not find water. I rolled in dust and said prayer, and the Apostle said: It was enough for you to strike the ground with your hands and then blow the dust and then wipe your face and palms.

When the prayers are to be said, make sure you have not eaten camel meat or are among the camels. Praying amongst Sheep is fine though, as explained in Sahih Muslim 3:700 A man asked whether he should perform ablution after eating mutton. Muhammad said: If you do not wish, do not perform it. The man asked: Should I perform ablution after eating camel's flesh? He said: Yes, perform it after eating camel's flesh. The man asked: May I say prayer whilst amongst the sheep? Muhammad said: Yes. The man then asked: May I say prayer where camels lie down? Muhammad said: No. In other texts we are warned against praying amongst dogs, donkeys and women, so we can now add camels to the list.

Muhammad was obviously a man subject to serious delusional attacks. Either that or he was a compulsive liar. He tells us in Sahih Bukhari, 8:345, of the night Gabriel came down, opened his chest, washed his organs and filled him up with wisdom prior to taking him off to heaven."While I was at Mecca the roof of my house was opened and Gabriel descended, opened my chest, and washed it with zam-zam water. Then he brought a golden tray full of wisdom and faith and poured its contents into my chest. Then he took my hand and ascended with me to the nearest heaven..." With Muhammad's chest now cleaned, wisdom could be poured in. In those days the function of the brain was unknown and the heart was considered the reservoir of emotions and knowledge. Hence Muhammad's claim that wisdom and faith was poured into his chest and not his head is understandable coming from someone of that period rather than someone with bona fide knowledge.

With such wisdom though, one would think the prophet would not be afraid of a solar eclipse. But we read in Sahih Bukhari 18:167, The sun eclipsed and the Prophet got up, being afraid that it might be the Day of Judgment. He went to the Mosque and offered the prayer with the longest Qiyam, bowing and prostration that I had ever seen him doing. Obviously terrified of the last hour, thinking a solar eclipse was the end of time, the prophet went scampering to the mosque and prayed like he never did before.

There will come a time when faith will not benefit those who never previously believed in Allah. That time will come when the sun rises from the West. Muhammad explains as follows: SM 1:297 The Messenger of Allah said: The sun glides till it reaches its resting place under the Throne. Then it falls prostrate and remains there until it is asked: Rise up and go to the place whence you came, and it goes back and continues emerging out from its rising place. Then it would be said to it: Rise up and emerge out from the place of your setting, and it will rise from the place of its setting. {i.e. the sun rises from the west} The Messenger of Allah said. Do you know when this would happen? It would happen at the time when faith will not benefit one who has not previously believed or has derived no good from the faith.

There are so many secrets of the universe that an all knowing, omniscient being could reveal to mankind should he decide to use an intermediary to make contact with us. As we can see above Muhammad did reveal many of these secrets. Here are a few additional choice selections from that era of divine enlightenment:

• SB 65:366 The Prophet said, 'When you eat, do not wipe your hands till you have licked it, or had it licked by somebody else."
  
• SB 69:538 Apostle said, "He who drinks in silver utensils is only filling his abdomen with Hell Fire."
  
• SB 7368:1 The Prophet forbade laughing at a person who passes wind.
  
• SB 72:826 Allah has cursed those women who have tattooing and those who remove hair from their faces to look beautiful.
  
• SB 60:409 Allah's Apostle has cursed the lady who uses false hair.
  
• SB 72:746 Allah's Apostle said, "None of you should walk, wearing one shoe only; he should either put on both shoes or put on no shoes whatsoever."
  

These pearls of celestial wisdom revealed in the seventh century from the apostle of Allah sadly brought no benefits to mankind. For humanity there were no leaps and bounds in our science, technology or arts that were derived directly from its scriptures. There was no concept of global unity or eradication of injustice. There was however a fervent divine urge to spread this ideology to all mankind by whatever means possible regardless of the consequences.

The Pagan Origins of Islam

Islam is a monotheistic bastardization of the pre-Islamic polytheistic religion followed by the inhabitants of 7th century Arabia. Its pagan heritage is clearly evident.

Pagan heritage of worship at the Ka’aba


According to the hadith, the Ka'aba in Mecca was a center of idol-worship, with the Ka'aba housing 360 idols:


Narrated 'Abdullah bin Masud: The Prophet entered Mecca and (at that time) there were three hundred-and-sixty idols around the Ka’aba. He started stabbing the idols with a stick he had in his hand and reciting: "Truth (Islam) has come and Falsehood (disbelief) has vanished."
Sahih Bukhari 3:43:658


Muhammad discarded the 360 idols but retained for Islam, the Ka’aba with its Black Stone, justifying it with the mythical claim that Abraham and Ishmael originally constructed it. However, there is no historical or archaeological evidence for the existence of the Ka’aba beyond a few hundred years before Muhammad's lifetime. In fact, Muhammad's own words disprove any connection he was attempting to make between Abraham, Ishmael and the Ka’aba.


The Qu'ran says Abraham built it:


Remember We made the House a place of assembly for men and a place of safety; and take ye the station of Abraham as a place of prayer; and We covenanted with Abraham and Isma'il, that they should sanctify My House for those who compass it round, or use it as a retreat, or bow, or prostrate themselves (therein in prayer).
Qur'an 2:125


Muhammed says it was built 40 years prior to the Temple at Jerusalem:


Narrated Abu Dhaar: I said, "O Allah's Apostle! Which mosque was built first?" He replied, "Al-Masjid-ul-Haram." I asked, "Which (was built) next?" He replied, "Al-Masjid-ul-Aqs-a (i.e. Jerusalem)." I asked, "What was the period in between them? He replied, forty years.

The Temple at Jerusalem was built by Solomon around 958-951 BC. This implies that if Muhammad were to be believed, the Ka’aba must have been built approximately 998-991 BC. But Abraham lived around 2000 BC and both Abraham and Ishmael were long dead and gone by then. If Muhammad is correct, then the Qur’an [and therefore Allah] is wrong. But if the Qur’an is correct in stating that Abraham and Ishmael built the Ka’aba, then Muhammad and the hadith is wrong.


In truth, the Ka’aba has nothing to do with Abraham or Ishmael. It has a wholly pagan heritage. Egyptian Professor and foremost authority on Arabic literature, Dr. Taha Husayn, said the following:


The case for this episode is very obvious because it is of recent date and came into vogue just before the rise of Islam. Islam exploited it for religious reasons.

Also, according to sahih hadith, Muhammad even considered dismantling it:


Narrated Aswad: Ibn Az-Zubair said to me, "Aisha used to tell you secretly a number of things. What did she tell you about the Ka'ba?" I replied, "She told me that once the Prophet said, 'O 'Aisha! Had not your people been still close to the pre-Islamic period of ignorance (infidelity)! I would have dismantled the Ka'ba and would have made two doors in it; one for entrance and the other for exit." Later on Ibn Az-Zubair did the same.

Worship at the Ka’aba and the kissing of the Black Stone are just the first of many practices stolen from 7th century paganism and repackaged within 'monotheistic' Islam.


Pagan heritage of the Black-stone


The pagan gods of pre-Islamic Arabia were worshipped in the form of rectangular stones or rocks. For example, the pagan deity 'Al-Lat', mentioned in Qur'an 53:19, and believed by pre-Islamic pagans to be one of the 'daughters of Allah', was once venerated as a cubic rock at Ta'if in Saudi Arabia. An edifice was built over the rock to mark it apart as a house of worship. Read about it from Kitab Al-Asnam (Book of idols):


Al-lat stood in al-Ta'if, and was more recent than Manah. She was a cubic rock beside which a certain Jew used to prepare his barley porridge (sawiq). Her custody was in the hands of the banu-'Attab ibn-Malik of the Thayif, who had built an edifice over her. [...]She is the idol which God mentioned when He said, "Have you seen Al-lat and al-'Uzza (Surah 53:19)

"A principal sacred object in Arabian religion was the stone, either a rock outcropping or a large boulder, often a rectangular or irregular black basaltic stone… of numerous baetyls, the best known is the Black-stone of the Ka’aba at Mecca which became the central shrine object in Islam".

Muslims cannot deny that the Black Stone was one among many stones and idols venerated at the Ka’aba by the pre-Islamic pagan religion. The Black Stone was kissed during pre-Islamic pagan worship. Though Muhammad threw out 360 other objects at the Ka’aba, he retained this Black Stone and continued the practice of kissing it. It is this same stone that pre-Islamic 'pagans' once kissed, that Muslims love to kiss today when visiting Mecca.


Pagan past of Islamic praying and fasting


Praying - The Encyclopedia of Islam (edited by Eliade) P. 303FF says that people, prior to Islam, would pray five times per day towards Mecca. Muhammad retained for Islam, this pre-Islamic practice, sanctioning it with a mythical story of a night trip to heaven on a fantasy animal called al-Buraq. In heaven, the Hadith tells us that Allah demanded 50 prayers per day per Muslim. Upon advice from Moses, Muhammed bargains with Allah and successfully reduces it to five prayers per day. How convenient for him and his followers.


Fasting - Muhammad's pagan tribe- the Quraish fasted on the 10th of Muharram. Muhammad retained for Islam, this pagan practice too, though optional. Here is proof from the Hadith:


Narrated 'Aisha: 'Ashura' (i.e. the tenth of Muharram) was a day on which the tribe of Quraish used to fast in the pre-lslamic period of ignorance. The Prophet also used to fast on this day. So when he migrated to Medina, he fasted on it and ordered (the Muslims) to fast on it. When the fasting of Ramadan was enjoined, it became optional for the people to fast or not to fast on the day of Ashura.

Pagan heritage of Tawaf between Safa and Marwa


Doing Tawaf between Safa and Marwa is an Islamic ritual associated with the pilgrimage to Mecca. Safa and Marwa are two mounts, located at Mecca. This comical ritual entails Muslims walking frantically between the two mounts, seven times. This was originally a pagan pre-Islamic practice. Muhammad retained it for Islam, sanctioning it with yet another convenient Qur'anic revelation: Qur'an 2:158. Here is proof from the Hadith about the pagan past of the ceremonies at Safa and Marwah:


Narrated 'Asim: I asked Anas bin Malik: "Did you use to dislike to perform Tawaf between Safa and Marwa?" He said, "Yes, as it was of the ceremonies of the days of the Pre-lslamic period of ignorance, till Allah revealed: 'Verily! (The two mountains) As-Safa and Al-Marwa are among the symbols of Allah. It is therefore no sin for him who performs the pilgrimage to the Ka'ba, or performs 'Umra, to perform Tawaf between them.' "

Clearly, the Hadith testifies that Muhammad merely adopted this pagan ceremony from the "Pre-Islamic period of ignorance" and justified it with yet another convenient Qur'anic concoction.


A myth was also cooked up about Hagar running between these two mounts in search of water until she found the Zam Zam well. Even if this story were true, why is this reason for people to run up and down between two mounts to please a god? This myth was not cooked up to further justify the ritual, but for another reason; Muhammad was trying to market the Zam Zam well, owned by his family, as a money-making venture.


Pagan requirement of “Ihram”


'Ihram' is a state a Muslim enters into for his pilgrimage to Mecca. 'Ihram' involves a series of procedures like ritual washing, wearing 'Ihram garments', etc. 'Ihram' was originally a pagan requirement for worshipping idols during pre-Islamic times. Muhammad retained this practice for Islam. Muslims assume Ihram to perform the Hajj or Umrah. Here is proof from the Hadith regarding its pagan heritage:


Narrated 'Urwa: I asked 'Aisha : ...But in fact, this divine inspiration was revealed concerning the Ansar who used to assume “Ihram” for worshipping an idol called “Manat” which they used to worship at a place called Al-Mushallal before they embraced Islam, and whoever assumed Ihram (for the idol), would consider it not right to perform Tawaf between Safa and Marwa.

Pagan heritage of Circumambulation

In the Islamic ritual of Tawaf, Muslims go around the Kaaba 7 times. In the Hindu marriage rite of Saptapadi, the married couple goes around a fire also 7 times. In both of these rituals, religious phrases are repeated during the circumambulation.
Circumambulation is to go in circles around a particular object. In Islam, worshippers and pilgrims do this merry-go-round around the Ka'aba at Mecca. Pre-Islamic pagans used do it to please the moon god Hubal, the 360 deities and Allah (who was merely one among the many deities worshipped there). Muhammad himself used to do it, even before the 360 idols inside the Ka'aba were removed. Judaism and Christianity (the religions of those who are considered People of the Book) do not practice ritual circumambulation to please God. Two other faiths which do are Hinduism and Buddhism, religions older than Islam and accused by Islam of “paganism” and practicing idolatry.


Pagan heritage of Islamic Crescent Moon


Hubal was the moon god worshiped at the Ka’aba. The crescent moon was Hubal’s symbol. Muhammad's pagan grandfather Abd al-Muttalib almost slaughtered Muhammad's father Abdallah at the Ka’aba, to satisfy his god Hubal. From Ibn Hisham:


An arrow showed that it was 'Abdullah to be sacrificed. 'Abdul-Muttalib then took the boy to Al-Ka'bah with a razor to slaughter the boy. Quraish, his uncles from Makhzum tribe and his brother Abu Talib, however, tried to dissuade him. They suggested that he summon a she-diviner. She ordered that the divination arrows should be drawn with respect to 'Abdullah as well as ten camels. … the number of the camels (finally) amounted to one hundred. … They were all slaughtered to the satisfaction of Hubal.
Ibn Hisham 1/151-155; Rahmat-ul-lil'alameen 2/89,90


Just think of it- the Ka’aba, Islam's holiest shrine has been a place where such pagan human sacrifices and slaughters have taken place for Hubal and rivers of blood have flown. When Muhammad founded Islam, he threw out Hubal. At the Battle of Badr, his enemy Abu Sufyan praised the high position of moon god Hubal, saying "O Hubal, be high". Muhammad asked his followers to yell back, "Allah is higher". (Sahih Bukhari 4:52:276)


Is moon-god Hubal no longer "higher"? Is Islam completely free of the 'moon' influence? Take a closer look at mosques all over the world, and you are likely to find Hubal’s symbol, the crescent moon, positioned at a high point of the mosque. As with the Cross for Christianity and the Star of David for Judaism, the Crescent moon is today a universal symbol for Islam.


It may not be a deliberate effort to worship Hubal. And yet, interestingly, through Islam, the pagan prayer of Muhammad's enemy Abu Sufyan at Badr has been answered, "O Hubal be high". With such rich pagan heritage, let not Muslims claim that theirs is a "pure" religion that descended directly from Allah’s heaven.

Is god of islam deceiver?

Hi, Readers here are some of the interesting things islam and its sharia law says about deception. I can bet most of muslims might not be aware of these.

In Koran, Sura 3:54

The Iraqi Information minister quoted Sura 3:54, saying that "Allah was the best of deceivers". What actually is this word?

Sura 3:54 says that Allah "makara." The Arabic word makara means to deceive, scheme, or plan. The Arabic Bible in Genesis 3:1 uses the same word for Satan. However, the Vand Dyck and Jerusalem Bibles use the root word hayala.

This word "schemer" (maakir) is a very strong word which Wehr and Abdel-Nour define as "sly, cunning, wily". The Arabic-Arabic unjid defines it with "khuda`a" which means exactly the same thing (by Bill Campbell in his book The Qur'an and the Bible in the Light of History and Science p.217-218).

The phrase of Allah "being the best deceiver". "kheir ol makarein" is also used of Allah in Suras 8:30; 10:22.

Allah is the most deceitful in Sura 3:54 and in Sura 30:8

In sura 10:21 Allah is referred to be the fastest in deceit

Another reference to the deceit of Allah: 7:99

and (they) Deceived and Allah Deceived and Allah is the deceivest of deceivers (Sura 3:54)

Translations of Sura 3:54

English translations of the Qur'an seem to conceal the true meaning.

"And (the unbelievers) Plotted and planned, And Allah too planned, And the best of planners Is Allah." (Yusuf Ali 3:54)

"And they devised, and God devised, and God is the best of devisers" (Arberry Sura 3:between 45 and 50

"The unbelievers among the children of Israel plotted against Isa and Allah also devised a plan to raise him up, and Allah is the best in planning." (Malik 3:54)

"And they (the disbelievers) schemed, and Allah schemed (against them); and Allah is the best of schemers." Pickthall 3:54

"And they planned, and Allah also planned; and Allah is the Best of planners." (translated by Maulawi Sher Ali, an Ahmaddiyya)

Yusef Ali, in his version of the Qu'ran, says that Makara can be "good or
bad", positive or negative. ( p. 156, note on Sura 3:54)

In Farsi, the word, "Makr" and "Makar" is from the Arabic, and it apparently is always negative.

Interpretation of Sura 3:54

The person who is a Makir (Same form as the word Kafir) speaking of
the attribute of a person is one who would outwit someone else to cause them harm. It speaks of one who would reveal the opposite of what he plans to do. The reality is that he is scheming evil for that person. So yes there is the sense of planning and scheming but mostly it means to trick, outwit and deceive for the purpose of overpowering and conquering the other. A Makir is one who devises a secret scheme against someone else. Synonyms would be cheating, defrauding, double-crossing, deceiving, tricking, in all cases Makara has the sense of defeating the one you have tricked.

Although Quranic verses are rarely understood in context of verses that surround them, the best meaning I could come up with in the context of the verse before it is that some have pretended to believe because they were trying to deceive Muhammad into believing that they have accepted his message. Muhammad however knew of their scheme because they cannot outwit Allah. So the literal translation that best represents the intention of the verse is: and (they) Deceived and Allah Deceived and Allah is the deceivest of deceivers
Sura 3:54 In Arabic;
Wa Makaru wa makara Allah wa Allah Amkaru al Makireen.

The context of the story is very important. Sura 3 is regarded to be the great dialogue of Muhammad with the Christians. Al Tabari says here that the deceit of Allah applies to the time where the Jews wanted to kill Isa the son of Mary. In order not to be killed someone had the face of Isa put on him so he was killed instead of Isa the son of Mary. This is how Allah deceived the Jews.

Strikingly when it comes to the cross the very central part of biblical teaching Allah is called khayr ulmakirin the most deceitful. Some one
wnats to conceal that he lost the battle on the cross! Here the true nature of Allah is revealed!

The Hadiths

Telling flattering lies to make peace is OK! "He who makes peace between the people by inventing good information or saying good things, is not a liar." Bukhari vol.3:857 p.533

"Narrated Jabir : The Prophet said, 'Who is ready to kill Ka'b bin Ashraf (i.e. a Jew).' Muhammad bin Maslama replied, 'Do you like me to kill him?' The Prophet replied in the affirmative. Muhammad bin Maslama said, 'Then allow me to say what I like.' [i.e. to lie]. The Prophet replied 'I do (i.e. allow you).'" Bukhari vol.4:271 p.168

Bukhari vol.3:687 p.415 "Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah Allah's Apostle said, 'Who would kill Ka'b bin Al-Ashraf as has harmed Allah and His Apostle? Muhammad bin Maslama (got up and) said, 'I will kill him.' So, Muhammad bin Maslama went to Ka'b and said, 'I want a loan of one or two Wasqs of foodgrains.'" After dickering over what to hold as mortgage, they agreed that Muhammad bin Maslama would mortgage his weapons. So he promised him that he would come with his weapons next time."

Allah Deceived the Jews, and His Deception of Christians Has Been Complete Ever Since

When Allah allegedly had only the appearance of Jesus die on the cross, that deceived the Jews who thought they had crucified him.

Allah Deceives Even Muslims

"...and then only this nation (i.e., Muslims) will remain, including their hypocrites. Allah will come to them in a shape other than they know and will say, 'I am your Lord.' They will say, 'We seek refuge with Allah from you. This is our place; (we will not follow you) till our Lord comes to us, and when our Lord comes to us, we will recognise Him.' Then Allah will come to them in a shape they know and will say, 'I am your Lord.' They will say, (no doubt) You are our Lord,' and they will follow Him." Bukhari vol.8:577 p.375. Bukhari vol.9:532 p.395-396 says the same thing. See also Sahih Muslim vol.1:349 p.115.

Now one Muslim observed that the word "deceive" is not present in the quote, Allah did not speak any lying words, and this occurs in Heaven, not on earth. However, it is not required that the word "deceives" be used to deceive people, as when Allah impersonated one who is not Allah. Those who believed Allah's words when Allah chose to be in this false shape go to Hell. If this is not deception, then what is? We can all agree that this hadith teaches that at a future time Allah will deliberately misrepresent himself to Muslims in a "shape other than they know".

What is Allah's shape? I have not (yet) heard a Muslim say, but here is what Bukhari vol.9:532 p.396 tells us. "When there remain only those who used to worship Allah (Alone), both the obedient ones and the mischievous ones, [and they will say] 'and now we are waiting for our Lord.' Then the Almighty will come to them in a shape other than that which they saw the first time, and He will says, 'I am your Lord,' and they will say, 'You are not our Lord.' And none will speak to Him then but the Prophets, and then it will be said to them, 'Do you know any sign by which you can recognize Him?' They will say, 'The Shin,' and so Allah will then uncover His Shin whereupon every believer will prostrate before Him and there will remain those who used to prostrate before Him just for showing off and for gaining good reputation. These people will try to prostrate but their backs will be rigid like one piece of a wood (and they will not be able to prostrate). Then the bridge will be laid across Hell,."

So, despite what Muslims today might say, Bukhari says that Allah will have a true physical form I Heaven, and Allah himself will also appear to Muslims in a false physical form, as sort of a temptation to them. In contrast, James 1:13 says, "When tempted, no one should say, 'God is tempting me.' For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone."

So I am asking muslims did allah Deceive You Too?

Is god of islam confused?

As I promised before I will expose the reality of islam in my posts on this blog. I want to show my readers how allah the god of islam is confused. As my Christian reader know who Angel Gabriel is. Angel Gabriel is mentioned in Gospel of Luke. Based on 2 passages of Gospel of Luke, Christians and muslims believe Gabriel to have foretold the birth of both John the Baptist and Jesus. It is cleared in both Christianity and in islam that he is an angel of God. But lets have a look passage from so called word of God "Koran". There are many many passages like that and in all it is mention by same wording.

In koran 97:4

Translation in English from Kanzul Iman

"Therein descend angels and Gabriel (the Spirit) by the command of their Lord for every affair."

In arabic word Al-Ruh for koran is specific for Angel Gabriel. Although Al-Ruh really means "The Spirit". The word Ruh-ul-Moqadas means "The Holy Spirit". this can be check by arabic translation of Bible. Now the question is of common sense, Is Gabriel an Angel or a Spirit? Obviously Gabriel is an Angel then why in koran of islam word Al-Ruh which means spirit is used for Gabriel? Is this make any sense to you;

"Therein descend angels and Gabriel by the command of their Lord for every affair."

Gabriel is separated from Angels in this verse. If Gabriel is an Angel it does not need to mention him separately. God of islam looks confused in this matter as he does not know Gabriel is an Angel.

Now what i think is a little bit different. Actually while koran is told to mohammad by satan, he (satan) told something which is true. Let us put the correct translation for Ruh and see what it means;

"Therein descend angels and the spirit by the command of their Lord for every affair."

Does it make sense now? Yes of course as Jesus said that he will not leave us alone rather than He will ask the Father to send the Holy Spirit. Now it is self explanatory, that by Command of Lord the Holy Spirit comes to us to guide us.

Why I am Christian Now?

Hi, I Clem Denial is an Ex-Muslim. Now by grace of Lord Jesus and because he loves me I am now Christian. I know there is a question in your mind why i left islam and embrace Christianity. Well it all started when I was start writing a book by name of "DoomsDay in Eye of World Religions". I researched each and every religion for the signs of Doomsday. I covered the topic in reference of Judaism and Christianity in the beginning like let say 2 to 3 days. But when it comes to islamic section i was amazed while researching at one hadith (Authentic by all school of thoughts in islam). The hadith as such is an ordinary one about the antichrist or dajjal (as in islam) but it have many signs in itself. Let see what that hadith is;

From book shih-muslim,

'Amir Ibn Sharahil Sha'bi Sha'b Hamdan reported that he asked Fatima bint Qays, the sister of Dahhak Ibn Qays, who was one of the first Muhajirat, "Tell me a Hadith which you heard directly from the Prophet with no narrator in between." She said, "I can tell you if you like." He said, 'Yes, please tell me," she said, "I married Ibn al-Mughirah, who was one of the best of the youth of Quraysh in those days. But he fell in the first Jihad on the side of the Prophet. "When I became a widow, 'Abd al-Rahman Ibn 'Awf, one of the companions of the Prophet sent me a proposal of marriage. The Prophet also sent me a proposal of marriage on behalf of his freedman Usamah Ibn Zayd. I had been told that the Prophet had said, 'He who loves me should also love Usamah.' When the Prophet spoke to me, I said, 'It is up to you: marry me to whomever you wish.' "The Prophet said, 'Go and stay with Umm Sharik.' Umm Sharik was a rich Ansari (Muslim originally from Madina) woman, who spent much in the way of Allah and entertained many guests. I said, 'I will do as you wish.' Then he said, 'Don't go. Umm Sharik has many guests, and I would not like it if your head or leg were to become uncovered accidentally and people saw something you would not wish them to see. It is better if you go and stay with your cousin 'Abdullah Ibn 'Amr Ibn Umm Maktum' ('Abdullah was of the Banu Fihr of Quraysh, the same tribe as that to which Fatima belonged).

"So I went to stay with him, and when I had completed my 'Iddah (period of waiting), I heard the Prophet's announcer calling for congregational prayer. I went out to the mosque, and prayed behind the Prophet. I was in the women's row, which was at the back of the congregation. When the Prophet had finished his prayer, he sat on the pulpit, smiling, and said, 'Everyone should stay in his place.' Then he said, 'Do you know why I had asked you to assemble?' The people said, 'Allah and His Messenger know best.' "He said, 'By Allah, I have not gathered you here to give you an exhortation or a warning. I have kept you here because Tamim al-Dari, a Christian man who has come and embraced Islam, told me something which agrees with that which I have told you about the Dajjal. He told me that he had sailed in a ship with 30 men from Banu Lakhm and Banu Judham. The waves had tossed them about for a month, then they were brought near to an island, at the time of sunset. They landed on the island, and were met by a beast who was so hairy that they could not tell its front from its back.
They said, "Woe to you! What are you?" It said, "I am al-Jassasah." They said, "What is al-Jassasah?" It said, "O people, go to this man in the monastery, for he is very eager to know about you." Tamim said that when it named a person to us, we were afraid lest it be a devil." Tamim said, 'We quickly went to the monastery. There we found a huge man with his hands tied up to his neck and with iron shackles between his legs up to the ankles. We said, "Woe to you, who are you?" He said, "You will soon know about me. Tell me who you are."
We said, "We are people from Arabia. We sailed in a ship, but the waves have been tossing us about for a month, and they brought us to your island, where we met a beast who was so hairy that we could not tell its front from its back. We said to it, "Woe to you! What are you? and it said , "I am al-Jassasah." We asked, "What is al-Jassasah?" and it told us, "Go to this man in the monastery, for he is very eager to know about you." So we came to you quickly, fearing that it might be a devil.'
"The man said, "Tell me about the date-palms of Baysan.' We said, 'What do you want to know about them?" He said, 'I want to know whether these trees bear fruit or not.' We said, 'Yes.' He said, 'Soon they will not bear fruit.' Then he said, "Tell me about the lake of al-Tabariyyah [Tiberias, in Palestine].' We said, 'What do you want to know about it?" He asked, 'Is there water in it?' We said, 'There is plenty of water in it.' He said, 'Soon it will become dry.' Then he said, 'Tell me about the spring of Zughar.' We said, 'What do you want to know about it?' He said, 'Is there water in it, and does it irrigate the land?" We said, 'Yes, there is plenty of water in it, and the people use it to irrigate the land.' "Then he said, "Tell me about the unlettered Prophet ' what has he done?' We said, 'He has left Makkah and settled in Yathrib.' He asked, 'Do the Arabs fight against him?' We said, 'Yes.' He said, 'How does he deal with them?' So we told him that the Prophet had overcome the Arabs around him and that they had followed him. He asked, 'Has it really happened?' We said, 'Yes.'He said, 'It is better for them if they follow him. Now I will tell you about myself. I am the Dajjal. I will soon be permitted to leave this place: I will emerge and travel about the earth. In 40 nights I will pass through every town, except Makkah and Madina, for these have been forbidden to me. Every time I try to enter either of them, I will be met by an angel bearing an unsheathed sword, who will prevent me from entering. There will be angels guarding them at every passage leading to them.'

Fatima said, "The Prophet striking the pulpit with his staff, said: 'This is Tayyibah, this is Tayyibah, this is Tayyibah, [ie Madina]. Have I not told you something like this?' The people said, 'Yes.' He said, 'I liked the account given to me by Tamim because it agrees with that which I have told you about the Dajjal, and about Makkah and Madina. Indeed he is in the Syrian sea or the Yemen sea. No, on the contrary, he is in the East, he is in the East, he is in the East' and he pointed towards the East. Fatima said: I memorised this from the Prophet."

Now antichrist or dajjal saying above that "It is better for them if they follow him". I also bold it above. Kindly take a note of this what antichrist or dajjal said in above hadith. How let us see other authentic hadith of mohammad.

Anas Ibn Malik said, "The Prophet said, 'there has never been a Prophet who did not warn his people against that one-eyed liar. Verily he is one-eyed and your Lord is not one-eyed. On his forehead will be written the letter Kaf, Fa, Ra (Kafir).'" (Muslim, al-Bukhari)

Now let us see what is the meaning of dajjal;

Dajjal means Liar or Deceiver

Dajjal means someone who conceal the reality of something

As mohammad said and as the meaning dajjal it is cleared he is a liar. i want the readers to go back above and read what dajjal said!

he said, It is better for them if they follow him

Now the question is how come a liar tell truth to that Christian men? He is lying and lying means he is saying opposite what is truth. Got my point?

This hadith forced me to think about the reality of islam. I began to read Bible & Torah (These books are prohibited in islam to read). Load Jesus helped me in understanding the Bible and by his book He showed me right path. Now there are many question i have in my mind about islam which i know no one can answer because there are no answer. The islam is based on lies. By the time i will show the reality of islam.
